Boards Mass Effect 2 Jack or Miranda, which is the more rewarding romance? User Info: Jack's romance is more emotional. Jack's is remarkably sweet.

You really see how holding together her rough crass exterior is just a defense mechanism for all the pain shes gone through. Miranda on the other hand has got dat ass! Winning isn't everything, but it's the only thing that matters. Yvonne Strahovski. Choice is obvious. Jack's is way more rewarding. Miranda's romance is about Shepard being impressed by Miranda's endowments and Miranda being impressed by Shepard's accomplishments, and they shag 'cause they're, oh, so great.

Miranda's romance is only worth it for the ass and bewbs. Jack's is more emotional and there's character development. Because you used the word "romance", I'm going to say Jack. The fling with Miranda is based on nothing more than attraction, both ways, and doesn't deliver anything more than a good time had by all. I wouldn't call either of them rewarding. Wouldn't call Tali's all together rewarding either, all of the romances in ME2 are fairly shallow.

In fearful day, in raging night, with strong hearts full, our souls ignite! When all seems lost in the War of Light, look to the stars, for hope burns bright! Just because something has been done before it doesn't mean it's a stereotype. Unless it's something absolutely outrageous, I'm willing to bet my left testicle that I can find a very similar - if not identical - work out there. And how is Jack a "wannabe"? Not only is she genuinely powerful, but she has killed a truckload of people.

She isn't any less hardcore just because there's a human underneath. I'm not a naysayer, I'm a realist. If Jack was really has hardcore as she wants people to think she is, she wouldn't have her soft, chewy inside. She wouldn't have a baaaawww fest with Shepard during her romance. If she really was that hardcore, then BioWare wouldn't have had to shove it in the player's face.

Her romance is shallow and stereotypical, just as Miranda's and Tali's are as well. The only romance that isn't, is Thane's, and even then he's a dead man walking, which has been done to death. I find both Miranda and Jack's romance subplots to be very similar. At their respective cores, both just want acceptance. For all intents and purposes, Miranda is nothing more than a tool.

She was genetically engineered to get everything she could want simply by using her looks. She craves someone who will look at her as a human being. She's built herself a wall of her own. In her mind, anything that wasn't "perfect" was failure and she had her own emotions bottled up so she couldn't be affected. Jack built up her own walls because she, like Miranda, saw them as roadblocks that impeded goals.

Although Miranda's goal was essentially "being perfect" as far as she could comprehend, she had no other purpose, thanks to her genetic engineering and Jack's was her very survival. Different roads, same destination. Tali and Garrus have similar romances, too. They were blatant fanservice and I think it actually hindered Garrus as a character overall, whereas Tali got slightly more character development. Jacob just seems to lack something as a character. More wasted potential.

Thane is one of the better characters in the series "Do you know what my New Year's resolution is going to be? To wake up a half an hour earlier so I can hate you more. Jack , also known as Subject Zero , is a notorious criminal whose crimes include piracy, kidnapping, vandalism and murder. She just dared the Cerberus leader to take his best shot at stopping her. Mass Effect 2 - Romancing Jack part 4

Mass Effect: The Mass Effect trilogy is often revered for its writing and memorable characters, each of whom the player could develop a unique, personal relationship with. But for some players, Mass Effect was nothing more than elaborate dating sim masked behind the imposing threat of an alien invasion. As a potential lover, Morinth talks a big game. The Asari warrior boasts that her previous partners have experienced a greater pleasure than any normal bonding can offer. Naturally curious, Shepard is promptly greeted with an untimely death for trying to get lucky. After a private interview, she expresses concern for her career as Shepard hits on her, but agrees to an exclusive, intimate moment together. Even fewer players feel the burning passion to get with Kaidan romantically during the first game; those who did were rewarded with this fairly tame sequence where he teases his commanding officer before a bout of physical activity. Like most Asari, Samara is a stoic, capable ally to keep around. Shepard can try their hardest to flirt with her, but will often be denied. However, if the player is persistent, they can crack this cold exterior over time.

I'm trying to romance Jack in Mass Effect 2, but I don't want to replay the first Mass Effect and when I chose the "new game" option it chooses for the default romance option of Kaidan. Who you romanced in Mass Effect 1 has no impact on romancing Jack, who you don't meet until Mass Effect 2 anyway. All that matters is that you don't romance somebody else while you're romancing Jack, as she has very low self esteem and doesn't handle it very well at all. When completing her loyalty mission ensure you review all of the available logs and talk to Jack afterwards to get her feelings on what you've learned. It's best to choose the caring dialogue option whenever one presents itself to you while taking with Jack. Later in the game after completing both Jack and Miranda's loyalty mission you will come back aboard the Normandy to find them fighting with each other.
