User Info: Pardon me. Also, I've sworn off 1v1 "For Glory"; I have never found an opponent that did not fight dirty.

I implore you to reconsider your position, Sir Gamer. You must consider all factors in any given situation. Are we qualified to decide whether or not a tactic is a truly underhanded course of action when nothing else but threads of lies separate a player from the truth? The tactic itself is but an illusion, for the astute gamer and scholar would say that how a player achieves victory is merely a question of why in and of itself.

However, we have no choice but to move forward at all times, despite what unscrupulous and underhanded attempts may be made in a vain attempt to foil our efforts, for if we to retire from our efforts, it would be these less desirable players, and these players alone, who would be the ones the next generation of gamers would look towards to carry them out of a dark mist of salt and violence. After all, our fates will indubitably be binded together despite whatever efforts are made to drive us apart; though many players may retire to online gaming to sate their innermost desire for satisfying their true nature of self loathing hedonism, there is not a single gamer that is not a part of this in the end.

It is all of us, and all of us alone; for no matter how loathesome we may appear at first glance, it is consistently us, and no one else, who shall always be the true players in this fatal banquet of chaos. Well spoken. My only reply is: Truly we enter virtual reality, possibly to escape the woes and cares, so prevalent in our mortal existence. Or simply, it may allow some to express their basest behaviors, often without direct physical consequences.

I suppose it is just a video game after all. The widespread consideration and application of my message to the gaming community may very well be impractical, but I have the desire to hope it may be so. Thank you. It is indeed a fortuitous turn of events to happen across an individual with the utmost respect and appreciation for the proper rules of etiquette!

Should you wish to engage me in combat, do inform me. I base my strongest abilities on the one who fights for his friends with an intermediary level of competence, and am available for discourse most fortnights. Each opponent I face is rewarded for their efforts with a pre match salute and none of the frequently witnessed excessive, unnecessary crouching is tolerated from my foes, let alone myself, as it would reflect poorly on my strength of character.

I would graciously accept your offer. However, believe it or not, in my frustration with "For Glory", I chose to delete all save data. I have sworn off SSB4 for good. I will greatly miss Smash Run, and the few times I had the joyful opportunity to battle with Friends. Perhaps it is for the best after all. I will assuredly continue to hold fast to my honor and dignity in online play. Having encountered another who shares my values has been exceptionally rare, and I am truly grateful.

Thank you for your understanding, as it is most appreciated! Carry on the work, my friend! Our cause is a noble one. A tragedy, to be sure. Go with fortune, and hold your head high at all times, Sir Gamer! If you wish to defeat the dregs who underlie the most despicable depths of our society, no weakness is allowed. Always bear in mind everything you have heard, seen, and experienced yourself, for there is never a better judge of character then your own eyes themselves. Continue searching for your answer, Sir Gamer, and rest assured, you will find it.

Should you strive hard enough and do whatever it takes, then someone like you shall always be able to find it in the end. Continue on your path, and one day the foes arrayed against us will fall apart. This will bring about the inevitable conclusion to this matter, and the truth will come out at last. It always will. It always does. It always must. I wholeheartedly agree. Sadly, my system had a broken trigger, and today's transfer to the new system both latest models ended up with my losing all DLC, save data, and in-game purchasables.

The microSD cards are complete refuse. Never, ever purchase DLC; I certainly never will again. It is an utter scam. If you're looking for a new challenger worthy of your skills, I'm here. I might not win or anything, but I'll give you a damn good fight. Come at me! I've actually sold my copy of SSB4, but Spybreak might be interested. Thanks for the offer, though! Nintendo refunded my eShop DLC: Now working to rebuild old PRW data. More topics from this board Keep me logged in on this device.

Forgot your username or password? Ferocactus Ferocactus 2 years ago 1 There is no matchmaking in terms of skill level or based off win percentage; it is a finite myth. To be honest, all the matches I've played have only provided me with moveset spammers, chain abusers, and campers. It is not like I'm an inexperienced, transparent, unskilled player: If I encounter unsavory players, I retire from the match when multiple offenses are committed; it's not "rage quitting", because there is no rage on my part I just want a fair fight.

However, that may only be a vain hope for real character in my opponents; it appears true that "nice guys finish last", only in the sense that they are not recognized as "experts", but are often labeled as "noobs". Yes, my opponents will mop the stage with me , but only because I refuse to assimilate their underhanded tricks.

Remember, readers, that online play affects everyone you encounter. How you play offline is mostly according to your own discretion, but when you interact with others in these games, it becomes Nintendo's concern. I am being honest here, and I expect the same from my opponents. My hope is such, that this message will persuade all guilty parties and individuals to reform their conduct.

Believe it or not, the psychology is such, that the only people to be angry at this message are those who are guilty of such dishonorable behavior ; just consider that for a moment. If you cannot see the reasoning behind that statement, you have much yet to learn about human nature. Ferocactus Ferocactus Topic Creator 2 years ago 2 Pardon me.
